About Me
Paula is a Portuguese artist, born in 1989. Having studied arts since a young age, her work extends from scientific illustration to artistic painting. Her works vary in techniques, stretching from oils to watercolor, pastels or even graphite and colored pencils.
Academically, Paula has studied arts through high school, specializing in ceramics at the Escola Artística António Arroio, followed by her bachelor’s and master’s degree in Drawing, with a focus on Archaeological-drawing at Faculty of Fine-Arts (Universidade de Lisboa).

Former member of the colective space "The Lisbon Studio", where she participated in the Comics series TLS SERIES -Silencio with her short story "Tempo", while working as a freelance ilustrator for Archaeology Articles and History books and as a professional portrait artist.
Participated in the "Filhos do Manguito" exibition with illustrations and watercolors, as well as solo "Corpo Adentro" oil paintings exibition and in the "Romaria Cultural" cultural event in Gouveia, as a mixed media artist.
Is currently teaching painting and drawing at "Atelier Internacional de Belas-Artes" in Lisbon and freelancing as a scientific-illustrator and portrait artist.

Paula Masters many diferent techniques from traditional (Oils, Oil pastel, Acrilics, Watercolors, soft Pastels, inks and Gouache) to Digital Mediums.

A Paula é uma artista portuguesa, nascida em 1989. Tendo estudado artes desde muito jovem, o seu trabalho estende-se da ilustração científica à pintura artística. Os seus trabalhos variam em técnicas, indo desde óleos até aquarela, pastéis ou até grafite e lápis de cor. Académicamente, a Paula estudou artes desde o ensino secundário, tendo feito especialização em cerâmica na Escola Artística António Arroio, seguindo-se a licenciatura e o mestrado em Desenho, com ênfase em Desenho Arqueológico na Faculdade de Belas Artes da Universidade de Lisboa. ​
Ex-membro do espaço coletivo "The Lisbon Studio", onde participou na série de banda desenhada TLS SERIES - Silêncio com o seu conto "Tempo", enquanto trabalhava como ilustradora freelance de Artigos de Arqueologia e Livros de História e como retratista profissional.
Participou na exposição "Filhos do Manguito" com ilustrações e aguarelas, bem como na exposição individual de pinturas a óleo "Corpo Adentro" e no evento cultural "Romaria Cultural" em Gouveia, como artista mista.
Actualmente ensina pintura e desenho no "Atelier Internacional de Belas-Artes" em Lisboa e trabalha como ilustrador científico e retratista como freelancer.
